Optional activities for Thursday afternoon 11 March
For those who wish to experience more of Rotorua's special character we have arranged for transport to the following local attractions:

    Experience Rotorua's famous thermal attractions and Maori Arts and Crafts institute. Tour includes a Maori cultural performance. (Approx cost $50)
  • RAINBOW SPRINGS AND KIWI ENCOUNTER < www.rainbowsprings.co.nz >
    An opportunity to experience New Zealand's natural environment in a park setting. Includes a guided tour of the unique kiwi rearing facility and a chance to see live kiwi up close. (Approx cost $35)
  • AGRODOME & ADRENALIN < www.agrodome.co.nz >
    Experience rural New Zealand's at the World-Famous Sheepshow. Includes Farm Tour and extreme fun activities. (Cost is $22.50 for Sheepshow and approx $45 per extreme fun activity - choose from Swoop, freefall, schweeb, Agrojet or Zorb)
  • SCION < www.scionresearch.com >
    Visit the attractive Scion campus (the New Zealand Forest Research Institute) and take a guided walk in the popular redwood grove. This option allows delegates to visit Scion's biosecurity laboratory and meet with staff if they wish. (No cost)

Please Note: More details about these options will be supplied at registration and delegates will be asked to indicate their preference upon arrival at Rotorua. Entry to attractions will be at delegates' expense. Delegates can opt to take free time for their own activities if preferred.
